Phaedra Marriott visited Calvary Lutheran High School on Chapel Day last week. She is the mother of one of the Calvary students. Her message to the student body was quite enlightening. Phaedra was a victim of a drunk driver. She will have to live with the end results of the accident for the rest of her life. She is a truly a survivor. Don’t forget that family members also suffer.
It was a very nasty, rainy day on Saturday, October 21. This didn’t stop four volunteer students and their teacher from Calvary Lutheran High School who participated in the recent Chili Cook-Off held at the Miller County Regional Stockyards, Eldon, MO. The students manned the children game booths and hay maze. They had a great time. They also got to ride in a covered wagon pulled by a pair of beautiful black horses owned by Dan Schroeder of Russellville, Mo.
