Dining Out with Calvary is back! Calvary is partnering with local businesses who support education in our community to provide financial support of the program and activities at our school. Come join us on the third Tuesday of the month through May for a wonderful fellowship opportunity as you can meet with other community members who support our school. This program is intended to give you the excuse you needed to visit these local dining establishments and support Calvary at the same time. Each of these businesses has agreed to donate between 10% and 20% of the total sales back to the school from all the customers from 5-8pm. Please put these dates on your calendar and encourage your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and relatives to join us these evenings also. No need to bring any special forms, just bring your appetites.

On Wednesday, September 24th Calvary had an adopt a school night at Panera Bread. We raised $212.84 for Calvary’s Booster Club. Calvary recieved ten percent of all sales at Panera from 5-8 pm. Thanks to all those who attended. ~ Mikaela Barnes

Calvary is having their third annual Mother’s Day Flower Sale on Saturday, May 10th. This is the largest fundraiser for the Active Parent Group who supports Calvary through a multitude of student social events, field trips, academic, fine art, and athletic opportunities.
We will need some of our Calvary students, and families, to arrive by 5:30 a.m. to organize and arrange the flowers for the sale which starts at 7 a.m. Seventy percent of our sales happen between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. so we need a large number of families to be present at that time. The afternoon slows down some, but help is still needed throughout the day. We will need a final surge of help from 4:30 – 6:30 as we need to take down and clean up from the sale.
Please be sure to check out the flier for this year’s sale. We are very proud of this flier and would like you to share it with everyone who would be interested.
Everyone should wear their Calvary shirts, especially the students, as they are to mingle with the customers and offer to carry their flower purchases to their vehicles. We also need parents, grandparents, and knowledgeable green-thumbers, to answer planting questions or direct customers to someone that can answer their questions. Anyone willing to help will be most welcomed and greatly appreciated. Please remember to thank all those you come in contact with whether they purchase or not.
The leadership class will be doing a free will donation car wash in conjunction with the Flower Sale. This means we really could use all of the students all day long.
You will also find attached a number of Mother’s Day Flower Sale fliers. Please find locations to post these: dentist’s office, pediatrician’s office, place of business, church, grocery store, hair dresser… In addition, please hand some to neighbors and co-workers that would help us spread the word.
