Fall 2010 Drama – The Suessification of Romeo & Juliet

Posted on October 4, 2010 @ 1:09 pm - Filed under: Calvary News

Join Calvary Lutheran High School for a fun-filled night of theatre. We will perform at Martin Luther King Hall Friday, October 29 at 7:00pm and Saturday, October 30 at 2:00pm. “The Suessification of Romeo and Juliet” is a whimsical reinvention of Shakespeare’s tragic love story, complete with rhymed couplets, creative wordplay, and fantastical machines – similar to something Dr. Suess might have come up with if he had his way with the script. Come enjoy an evening of family friendly entertainment with a Christ-centered school. Tickets will be sold at the door: $5 for adults and $2 for students.

2010 Calvary Golf Tournament

Posted on May 18, 2010 @ 6:27 am - Filed under: Calvary News

The sixth annual Calvary Lutheran High School Golf Tournament is in the planning stages. Due to your generosity, last year’s tournament raised over $16,750. These funds provided Calvary students with much needed financial assistance. During the 2009-10 school year, tuition assistance totaling over $40,000 was awarded to approximately 60% of our families. You can see by these figures how important Calvary’s golf tournament and private donations are to our families. We thank God for your support, and look forward to a great tournament.

Thank you for your interest and support in this Golf Tournament. For your convenience we have attached the official flier here.

Calvary Business Plan

Posted on February 11, 2010 @ 7:14 am - Filed under: Calvary News

Calvary Lutheran High School’s Business Plan has been developed to help guide Calvary’s ministry through the next five years. It is a living document that contains categories of our school’s essential components while listing major goals to improve these categories. This Business Plan has been developed in conjunction with Calvary’s Strategic Plan, keeping the Mission and Core Values as the central focus. This document will be regularly reviewed by the Board, the school administrative team, and the staff.

As we enter the next five years of building the next generation’s Christian leaders, it is our prayer that God will continue to lead and guide us. The privilege of serving a God who loves us so much that He sacrificed His one and only Son so sinners could be saved is not taken lightly at Calvary Lutheran High School. With total reliance on His grace and favor, we humbly submit this plan.

But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. Psalm 33:11

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
Proverbs 15:22

Many are the plans in a human heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails. Proverbs 19:21
